Well, here comes December!
But before Christmas preparations enter the top phase, I can focus on the equally pleasant time of joyous waiting! And to emphasize this importnat period I decided to make an Advent wreath. But alas, my creative skills are clearly limited, in this case by the ability to shape a bunch of prickly twigs into something at least resembling a circle. Nevermind, it’s all about the candles after all
So the wreath is acutally not there, but the Advent decoration – definitely! I made it using the Cozy Xmas papers and a chipboard sleigh base from our partner shop, Scrapiniec
To be honest, in the middle of all the work I started thinking whether it wouldn’t be EASIER to try to shape the twiggy circle than glue and cut the papers to the sleigh shape, but the idea wouldn’t go away
And so I somehow managed to the end
I decorated the front with a tag and small jingle bells:
.. and the sides with some cut-out elements and liquid pearls. Then I added some “icing” with glitter and pearl medium
On the back I just tied some white ribbon:
The sleigh inside is also decorated – one of the card bases fits the bottom perfectly
Finally I decorated the white candles with scraps of paper and pearls, so that they don’t look too poor by the lavishly ornamented red candle
And because they are not attached to the sleigh at all (kind of fire protection
), I intend to place the Christmas wreath (or some baubles at least) when the Advent is over
And I hope the sleigh will bring a truly white, snowy Christmas and I wish that to you and to myself too!

Maja, this is FABULOUS!
Oh wow! I love this!!!!
I love your sleigh especially in those beautiful papers. I’m so very happy that at last the Cosy Xmas paper collection is available here in NZ for us, just in time for Xmas.
