HI! Nerrida here……I seem to have a lot of people to thank lately, so I got busy with the Spring Awakening papers – they are just so delicate and pretty & the 7×12 are the perfect size for cards.
Supplies you’ll need are:
- Spring Awakening papers – paper 6 (12×12), paper 11 (7×12)
- Spring Awakening tags
- Flowers & leaves (I used Manor House Creations)
- lace
- buttons and/or pearls
- string
- paper insert
- adhesive foam/dots & glue
- scissors & trimmer
Step 1: Trim the 7×12 paper just beyond the pink line and fold so you leave approx 1cm of overhanging card on the back when closed.
Step 2: Trim the top tag to shorten it by about 1cm and add a rub-on title, then layer the 2 tags and 1 fussy-cut circle from the 12×12 paper, as shown, using 3D foam adhesive dots.
Step 3: Next add a strip of lace down the inside edge of the front of the card. I used Mr Hueys ‘Piglet’ mist to colour my white flowers and layered them, attaching with glue as shown. Add 1 white flower as a feature.
Step 4: Tie a string bow on 1 button and glue to bottom flower and add small leaves.
Step 5: Fussy-cut 1 of the banners from the left-over piece of 7×12 and attach as shown, again using 3D foam adhesive. Add another pearl or button to the top flower centre.
Finally: Add a paper insert so you can write on your card.
Hope you enjoyed my today’s tutorial. You coud make a whole set of these card using the 7×12 papers!
