Sweet Valentine from Maja!

Welcome to the sencod day of The ScrapCake’s Love Week :) It’s Maja here with another inspiration for you!

Today I’d like to share a quick and super easy way to add a bit of sweetness to your V-day cards :)

You’ll need: a plastic bag (I used an ordinary plastic bag I pack my cards in), a piece of paper (I used bits of Cozy Xmas and the Bright Side Of Life papers) and any embellishments you like – and of course, something sweet to eat :)

First cut your paper to the width of the plastic bag and any height, and score in half:

Then, if you like, you can decorate yhe paper a bit – I cut a decorative border with an edger punch – just remember to keep the same pattern on both sides, otherwise it’ll look uneven from the front.

Now turn the paper over and stick two strips of double-sided tape just by the score line, as shown in the picture:

Fill your bag with goodies – I put some heart-shaped gingerbread cakes – place right on the score line and cover with the other half to close the bag. If you feel the tape is too weak, you can secure the bag with some staples.

Now it’s teh best part – embellishing :) I punched a hole for the ribbon and added a sentiment plate with pearls:

Now that our sweet gift is ready…

…you just need to add an equally sweet card ;)

… and hand in your sweet Valentine set to the One you love :)

Lots of love to you, not only on St.Valentine’s Day :)
