Twins?? – from Maja!

Welcome at the beginningof the weekend :)  It’s Maja here, with my first project using the newest release papers :)

I must admit that having seen the sneak peeks, I couldn’t wait to get the DT package! Of course, when I finally opened the box, I immediately grabbed one of the plaid sheets :) And when I started to combine the particular elements of my page, it turned out that the very colourful collection of My Private Happiness resulted in…an almost monochromatic LO!

The idea for the LO comes from the fact that, to my great surprise, my two sons, completely different to me and “separated” by a two-year period, are very often mistaken for twins! And this page is a keepsake of those funny mistakes :)

It so happened I didn’t use any flowrs or brads :) I made many embellishments myself, cutting shapes from papers or stamp images. To add more dimension to the page, I mounted many elements on 3D foam. For the title, I employed a banner, quite a popular motif this season ;) I cut the letters from the “H is for Happiness” sheet and mounted on the hand-cut flags:

The composition is based on the long strips of paper from the borders sheet, and the photo is matted on tags :)

I wrote my journaling on one of them:

The whole page is very “boyish”, that proves the diversity of My Private Happiness collection :) I hope you like it too :)
