Children’s Department – SO sweet projects!

Good Morning everyone, Kuba here! Today Kubuś and I will show you some new inspirations!

I have learned yet another new thing in scrapbooking, and the story is this: I have made many birthday cards for my school friends, and I thought it was a bit boring, just cards. But I didn’t know what else to make. And then I saw my mum making cards in different shapes than usual. I asked her and she said they wre tags. And that was a great idea for the card I was to create for my friend – she can hang it somewhere in her room and have some decor item too! I wrote the wishes on the back and decorated the front as usual, i.e. a pencil-coloured stamped image, elements cut out from various papers and glitter, because girls like its shine.

Today I’d like to present my own cupcakes. I’m going to give such handmade paper cupcakes to teachers at the end of the school year. Despite this cake looks very flowered, I’ll hand some bunches of flowers as well.

These are quiet a big cupcakes and I have to make 6 of them. I want to give them to my form-master, two English teachers, French teacher (they won’t teach me any longer), religion teacher and guitar teacher. I hope I have enough time to make them all. The cupcake tutorial is very simple but it requires patience. You have to stick and sew.

If you will make such a cupcake – the tutorial can be found on my personal blog!

This time I used Summer at the Seaside and Little Monsters TSC collections. I put some fussy cut flowers under the roses. I’m a little bit afraid that I won’t make them on time but I’ll do my best. My today’s cupcake includes caramel, marzipan roses, raspberries and raspberries sauce and chocolate. This fantasy may taste well. But unfortunately my cake is inedible.

Ale nie polecam jeść takiej babeczki raczej.

We wish you lots of sunbeams!
