Maja welcomes all TSC Fans to the blog today
I love creating wedding cards. It’s one of the happiest moments in life when two people promise to each other love and common life. But I guess I love creating anniversary cards even more! They somehow prove that those people stayed true to their wedding vows, and despite various events that could have caused teh break-up of the relationship, they still carry on together, joined with the same feeling. And so for today’s post I have two such cards to share.
The first one is made using The Bright Side of Life papers (isn’t the name symbolic here?
)
I combined the flowers printed on the paper with those I cut out and the dimensional ones:
The foacl element of the card is the stamped quotation from the Bible which I think fits the occassion perfectly (it reads: In three things I was beautified, and stood up beautiful both before God and men: the unity of brethren, the love of neighbours, a man and a wife that agree together. Sir. 25)
Then I completed the card adding some vintage ribbon and a metal charm in the shape of two hearts interwoven.
The second card is to celebrate teh 20th anniversary – traditionally called the porcelain one, thus I anted it to be delicate and light, with no unnecessary embellishments:
I made the card using my favourite collection, One Moment in Time
To the beautiful design of the papers and delciate doily I added a little flower bouquet, matching it to the colour paltette with some glimmer mist:
For more interest, the card is an easel type, with the round sentiment stamp supporting the front:
I hope the couples that’d receive those cards would live happily on togheter, through successive anniversaries
